In order to avoid some visa issues (fourteen years together and two kids not-with-standing), our good friends Jane and Lachy, decided to tie the knot... So they toddled off to the Foreign Marriage Bureau in Nanjing and paid the princely sum of not much to sign on the dotted line. A celebration was in order so they booked the Presidential Suite at the Fairmont Hotel and invited a few of their nearest and dearest. What a fun afternoon and night!

Lots of stuff has been happening around school. Charlie did his exhibition with three other students and did a great job discussing depression to his peers, teachers and parents. It was the culmination of all the years of PYP.
Roma was Jane Goodall at the living museum. She looked a treat as she expertly told us of her life as the famous zoologist. I managed to play some (real) golf for the first time in China. At 1000RMB/person it will be my last. I played an Ambrose with 4 great guys - Mark, Scott and Lach. We didn't win, but we sure played like we should have won (cough cough). Charlie and Roma played basketball against each other for Wednesday ECA. Lots of talent there. If only they were 2 feet taller. |
